Quality housing

Future HSC currently provides accommodation in a Future HSC property for over 160 vulnerable people in the community, particularly those with enduring mental health issues and/or learning disabilities.

All our properties are secure and offer a therapeutic living environment in a positive community setting. We ensure that individualised support and signposting is provided for our tenants. All of our tenants receive regular support and visits from our highly-trained and knowledgeable Future HSC Housing Officers.

If needed, further support is provided:

  • by Future HSC’s Care and Support Services or;
  • by an outside partner Support Provider who will deliver a co-production service for tenants.

We have a wide variety of over 200 properties across Birmingham so that prospective tenants have considerable choices.  Our properties are located in both inner city areas and suburban locations from Erdington to Edgbaston, from Northfield to Newtown. We also have properties in Gloucester, Derby, Leicester and Cheshire.

Our properties include new or traditional houses, flats in purpose-built blocks or converted properties in which we can offer single and shared occupancies.

Our properties are made secure and are well-maintained by our specialist Future HSC Maintenance Team who are trained to offer a sensitive and effective maintenance service to all our tenants.

Supported Exempt Accommodation

In September of 2024, Future Health and Social Care Association on their second assessment was awarded a Silver certification for Supported Exempt Accommodation by the Birmingham Voluntary Sector Council (BVSC).

The achievement of this quality standard represents Future HSC’s good practice, commitment to provide quality housing and support for clients within the West Midlands. This also demonstrates the improvements made to the quality-of-service delivery from a Bronze certification in April 2022 to Silver in September 2024.
