Supported Living
Future HSC supported living provides a ‘safe haven’ for people experiencing mental health.
Our supported living services provide some time away from their everyday circumstances where their recovery has space to truly begin.
We ensure that our highly skilled Support Workers offer sensitive and compassionate support whilst working in close collaboration with Birmingham City Council.
Our supported living staff monitor and support our clients recovery by working with specialist teams and community based services; implementing personalised care and supporting our clients on their pathway.
Supported Living
We support service users with their physical and mental wellbeing by:
- Providing one to one person-centred care and support to service users to develop their independent daily living skills in the community.
- Working closely with clients along their recovery pathway.
- Ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times.
- Follow the practices of Future Health and Social Care’s policies and procedures.
- Liaise with medical professionals: Psychiatrists, Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), support workers, carers and family members to coordinate and facilitate the care and recovery pathway where appropriate.
- Support clients with employment, benefits and housing applications.
- Agree and update risk assessments, recovery star and regular health and social reviews to ensure consistent care is provided by the team.

Based in the middle of a busy community, this supported living has a warm and ‘homely’ feeling (as described by our service users) easy access to the Acocks Green high street whilst ensuring a home-from-home setting for relaxation without the potential stresses of their lives. As with all our services, the setting facilitates recovery and ensures our service users are able to maintain their independence whilst accessing (and receiving) the care they need.
